Steven undertook a secondment for part of 2021 and 2022 to fill a gap in the legal team due to another lawyer's absence on maternity leave. He was able to step in and look after legal matters to ensure continuity of service for the Toyota and Lexus business and undertake a random allocation of new work requests from all departments of both business.

Steven undertook a secondment into this business to provide a sole legal counsel function for part of 2020 and 2021. Initially the work consisted of business as usual matters and then managed the transmission of this business from a Groupe Renault subsidiary company operation to an independent distribution business in 2021.

Steven undertook a secondment with Nissan full time for approximately two years in 2014. He worked through CIE Legal as an outsourced corporate counsel predominantly focused on dealership network and associated matters.
